UPCOMING EVENTS
Join Preservation Utah for a special private walking tour created exclusively for the Liberty Wells community. This one-hour experience offers neighbors a deeper look at the history, architecture, and evolution of the place you call home.
Liberty Wells began as part of Salt Lake City’s 19th-century “Big Field” agricultural tract before transforming into one of the city’s earliest streetcar suburbs. On this guided walk, we’ll explore how farmland became a vibrant residential district and how transportation, planning, and craftsmanship shaped the neighborhood’s distinctive character.
This private tour is an opportunity for neighbors to connect more deeply with the historic fabric of their community and to celebrate the character that makes Liberty Wells unique.
Tour includes:
• A 60-minute guided walking tour within Liberty Wells
• Architectural highlights and neighborhood development history
• Insight into the evolution of Salt Lake City’s early streetcar neighborhoods
• Private experience designed for Liberty Wells residents
We look forward to exploring your neighborhood together on May 28 at 6 pm.
